TimeGold for the Web

With the introduction of TimeGold 4.0, entreprises may now manage timesheets through their Intranet network or Internet.

Unlike client/server software, TimeGold use a web browser to access some functions of the software. TimeGold for the Web is a client/server application with an open window on the Internet.

We currently support Web servers running under the followings OS : Windows® 95, Windows® 98, Windows® NT 3.51, 4.0. Supported browsers are : Microsoft Internet Explorer® and all Netscape® browsers.

More security

As users do not have direct access to databases and the application, except for systems administrators, your data is better protected. Software access is controled by a password system and the client/server application is controled though many security levels grant to each user.

Quick to learn and easy to use

The use of a browser as the application interface eliminate the need of creating links between workstation and the application itself. When an upgrade is needed, you only have to do it on the server, saving time and money and reducing risks of errors. Installing the software takes about 10 minutes and about 20 minutes if you do not previously have installed a web server. User's are able to use the application productively in less than an hour.

Intranet and/or Internet

TimeGold for the Web gives employee's the opportunity to enter theirs timesheets ans expenses through your Intranet network. If your company have a permanent connection with the Internet network, your employees will be able to enter data from anywhere in the world at any moment.

Year 2000 compliant

TimeGold 4.0 and TimeGold for the Web are year 2000 compliant. Your company will do the transition smootly from december 31 1999 to january 1, 2000, as well as the february 29, 2000. MicroAstron did all the requested testing to insure you peace of mind.
